Behind the branding///Company name
Google says, “The name of your company is probably one of your most valuable assets.” It plays a monumental role in your brand’s growth and perception. It’s amazing how crucial a name can be. Typically, a name needs to sound good when it’s said out loud. It has to have meaning to it and convey a benefit. [I totally concur with all of that! ]
The name you choose to give your business can make a huge difference when it comes to the ultimate success of your venture. Google will also give you hundreds of tips on how to create a catchy business name. All of these free resources are great but what it really comes down to is asking yourself the question, what do I want this brand to stand for and what are the values I want to portray?
So I did my research. I asked myself the important questions.
· Who is my target audience?
· What makes me different?
· What inspires me?
· What is my objective?
· How do I want this brand to feel?
· What are my beliefs?
Then I came up with a list of at least 50 words that inspired me. I wanted this name to evoke a certain vibration. I wanted this company name to give my readers a sense of hope, bravery, and inspiration. Then, I asked myself another question, what does it take for someone to want to make a profound change? What does someone need to get vulnerable, look within, and take action? COURAGE!
Courage is a choice!
It takes a whole lot of courage. By definition courage is the ability to do something that frightens you, being strong in the face of pain or grief. Courage is a choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. Synonyms commonly used: bravery, boldness, daring, heroism, determination, resolution, balls.
I do believe that courage consists of both small choices and big choices. They say small steps lead to big change. This is a huge part of my coaching style. Small steps leading to BIG results. You already have courage within you. It is my mission to help guide clients to tap into that courage, get ultra-clear, and create an action plan toward profound change.
Every successful person had a mentor or invested in themselves to be coached, to reach their full potential. Success is not a solo mission. It takes a whole lot of insight, support, and motivation from others. People are always stronger together. It is with these thoughts in mind that I came up with the second part of my brand-name, COLLAB.
Let’s Collab!
Collab, it’s an actual word in the dictionary [ha ha]. By definition, it’s short for collaboration. A situation in which two or more people work together to create, achieve, or promote something. As your coach, I am here to work together with you to create realistic and doable action steps and achieve the best version of you. I am here to inspire action, reveal old habitual thought processes, and get you out of your own way.
So Courage Collab was thoughtfully and intentionally created for you. My hope is that Courage Collab creates a safe container for you to tap into your awesomeness and confidently manage what it takes to rise to your next level.
